The Catholic Young Adults (CYA) is one of the most vibrant and active groups in our parish, bringing together young men and women aged 24 years and above who desire to deepen their relationship with Christ while actively participating in the life and mission of the Church. The group serves as a place where young adults grow spiritually, build meaningful friendships, discover their talents, and strengthen one another in living out the Gospel in today's world.
In a time when many young people face numerous challenges and uncertainties, CYA provides a welcoming environment where faith is nurtured, hope is renewed, and every member is encouraged to become a true disciple of Christ. Through prayer, faith-sharing, formation sessions, charitable activities, community outreach, and active participation in parish programmes, members are empowered to become responsible Christian leaders both in the Church and in society.
The group believes that young adults are not only the future of the Church but also an important part of its present mission. By working together, members cultivate unity, service, leadership, and a spirit of love that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ. CYA members actively support parish celebrations and initiatives, making valuable contributions through their commitment, creativity, and generosity.
Beyond spiritual growth, the group also promotes personal development by encouraging members to support one another in their professional lives, family responsibilities, and personal aspirations. It is a community where lifelong friendships are formed, talents are discovered, and every member is inspired to use their God-given gifts for the glory of God and the service of others.
Our parish is grateful for the dedication and enthusiasm of the Catholic Young Adults, whose witness continues to inspire many people to remain steadfast in their faith. We encourage all young adults aged 24 years and above who are not yet members to join this vibrant family and experience the joy of growing together in Christ while serving His Church.
